- i am..: an overworked med student; studied undergrad biology in neuroscience and human physiology; pretty fit, swim and work out a bit; have a lovely boyfriend who takes good care of me when i need it. politically and socially aware; fascinated with the shapes and colours of clouds; worked in music shops for years; fairly well-travelled. i am a fairly relaxed kind of guy, with what i think is a pretty well screwed on head. i do have a few destinations in sight, but when (in my humble opinion) the ultimate destination is death, is it not better to live for the journey???

The same reason why petrol/"gasoline" is taxed so much, same with alcohol... If drugs were legal the government would be raking in so much revenue! But you cannot measure "morality" in economic terms. Also, it's absolutely ludicrous how tax from petrol is not being used for pro-environment sustainability projects, and tax from alcohol is not fully allocated towards drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. It's because we're human love...
