i found this earlier this year during a random moment of procrastination. as a self-confessed cheese-aholic, i find this really cool. it's the 12-month process of a block of cheddar cheese maturing. particularly impressed with the time-lapse video on youtube too.

- i am..: an overworked med student; studied undergrad biology in neuroscience and human physiology; pretty fit, swim and work out a bit; have a lovely boyfriend who takes good care of me when i need it. politically and socially aware; fascinated with the shapes and colours of clouds; worked in music shops for years; fairly well-travelled. i am a fairly relaxed kind of guy, with what i think is a pretty well screwed on head. i do have a few destinations in sight, but when (in my humble opinion) the ultimate destination is death, is it not better to live for the journey???
